We desire to create a clear open design in an urban context with a very intuitive wayfinding. We compose a smart hospital design which offers an abundance of air and light with an optimal relation between inside and outside courtyards and healing gardens.
The obvious functionality and accessibility, which are key for the success of the exploitation and the management of such large hospitals, is not the main purpose anymore. The result must be also the reflection about flexibility, adaptability and spatial quality which will provide a healthy care and work environment with a strong identity.
